When the pandemic came to Guilford County the Mustard Seed clinic suddenly had a whole new set of needs, from PPE to COVID tests to learning how to serve patients remotely. Five talented and generous Greensboro musicians–Laurelyn Dossett, Nishah DiMeo, Lalenja Harrington, Demeanor, and Molly McGinn–stepped up to support the clinic with a series of four Thursday night Facebook Live concerts. “Doctor’s Orders: Stay Home, Have Fun, Support Community Health” was just the morale booster the community needed, and thanks to Mustard Seed’s many friends the series raised $12,500 for the clinic’s operations at a time when it needed it most. Many thanks to the musicians for their time and talent, and to the Weaver Foundation and Gefen Productions for their series sponsorship.
Missed the concerts? They’re still up on the Mustard Seed Facebook page–pull up a chair and enjoy.
